We look forward to your visit! Mountain Lakes Dental respects our patients’ time and we make our best
efforts to minimize the time you spend in our reception area. Under the “new normal” with COVID-19,
we’ve implemented additional precautionary measures to ensure your safety and that of our staff.
Please read through this information to prepare for your upcoming appointment.
Please Be Prompt – Extra precautions are in place to make sure our treatment areas are properly
disinfected, and our doctors and hygienists are ready for your visit. Due to these additional steps in
place, it is very important to be on time for your visit to allow for proper disinfection before the next
patient.
New Patients – Please complete the “New Patient Forms” prior to your visit and email them to us at
[email protected], or bring them with you on the day of your appointment
Your Health is Important to Us – If you are experiencing symptoms of fever, cough and/or sore throat,
please call us at 973-328-7199 and we will evaluate if you should reschedule your appointment.
Your Choice to Check-In – We understand some of our patients prefer to minimize their time in a public
place, so we are offering you the option to wait in your vehicle before your appointment. If you prefer
this option, please call us at 973-328-7199 upon your arrival to let us know you are in your vehicle. We
will make sure all your pre-visit screening is completed and will call you when your treatment room is
available.
Companions and Parents of Minors – Please note patients who require the assistance of a companion
or an adult parent, is only allowed 1 per patient. Companions and parents are not permitted in
treatment rooms. They may wait in the treatment room doorway or in their vehicles.
Entrances and Exits – To minimize over-crowding and maintain social distancing, please enter our
practice through the glass door located on the left side of the building facing Route 10 East. Patients
exit through the inside wooden door leading to the building’s common area.
Face Coverings – Face coverings are required for patients while in the waiting area and reception area.
Companions are required to keep face coverings on at all times.
Health Screening – Upon your arrival, we will take your temperature and review your health
questionnaire to make sure we will be able to properly support you
Additional Protections for You – Additional safety measures are now in place:
➢ Our reception area has protective barriers in place that will enable you to conduct financial
transactions safely
➢ Hand sanitizers are available for your use during your visit
➢ Disinfectant wipes and UV disinfecting light are used on materials handled by patients so
please know that it is safe to use pens and paper when necessary
➢ You will be asked to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution prior to your treatment to keep
your mouth germ free
➢ Do not be alarmed when you see our staff dressed in more protective equipment than
usual. They are for your personal safety.
➢ In addition to added and frequent cleaning, our office is further disinfected with UV light
throughout the day to remove lingering germs and viruses.
